IFPMA Corporate Brochure – “Committed to a Healthier Future”

IFPMA and its members are engaged in some 300 partnerships across the world to prevent diseases, improve health system infrastructure, train health professionals, discover new treatments for neglected diseases, donate medicines and vaccines, and promote other measures to improve the availability and quality of treatment for patients.

We first started working with IFPMA in 2015 on their flagship Corporate Brochure. It was crucial that the organization’s audiences engage positively with this document, and view it as containing relevant and timely information. Our designers worked closely with the IFPMA marketing team to develop a strong identity for the brochure, with secondary elements complementing existing brand and material styles while ensuring greater flexibility of approach.

By developing complementary elements such as icons, background textures, colourways and infographics to support core messaging, we were able to create a strong sense of purpose and style. The document was printed digitally on environmentally sustainable uncoated stock, and was delivered to Geneva in time for their AGM. The brochure was universally liked, receiving many favourable comments.

IFPMA Website

Following the Corporate Brochure’s positive reception, IFPMA asked ACW to design and build their principal website. The brochure branding was considered a great success, and was used as a basis for the website re-design. An initial consultation took place in Geneva, and ACW used the resulting feedback to ensure the website was easy to navigate, highly informative with resources and associated articles clearly grouped to assist usability.

The new website was designed to strengthen communication with stakeholders, and to reinforce the organization’s online presence. Beyond its fresh new look and feel, the new website is faster, easier to navigate and more user and mobile-friendly.

Social media interactivity is used to increase audience engagement via Twitter, LinkedIn, SlideShare, YouTube, and Flickr. The addition of keywords and social media feeds/links has made the site far more accessible, with visitor numbers increasing as a result.

To support the launch of the new website, ACW also developed a range of complimentary elements, including an email newsletter, an interactive pop-up and email signatures.

Key content and functionality of the website included:

Topics – delineate the site into primary focus areas including:
