Project aim
To Zero aims to develop a vision for how Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) can end Childhood Sexual Violence within a generation and a roadmap that charts the journey ahead. The Visioning Process was to engage with a variety of stakeholders to build a collaborative framework, that would end Childhood Sexual Violence within a generation.
A Shared Vision for Lasting Change
We were to attend the first in a series of in-person retreats, where partners from around the world would meet and discuss how to develop the vision and roadmap. Special attention will be given to understanding and balancing power dynamics between the different stakeholders, ensuring inclusion and the creation of safe spaces during this process.
Global Retreat & Collaborative Visioning
At the 3-day retreat there were daily workshops where the different groups shared ideas and experiences. We were asked to film workshops and conduct interviews, so that we could compile a set of videos to engage with the groups at the beginning of each day and ultimately a final video showing clips of the workshops and interviews.
Workshops, Interviews & Daily Film Production
Due to the sensitive nature of the workshop content, these were filmed remotely, without sound and showed a variety of interactions between participants. The interviews were held one-on-one in a separate part of the building, to a set of questions that we compiled. The videos were produced at the end of each day and shown at the beginning of next days’ workshop.
Participant Voices & Lasting Impact
The videos revealed the candid opinions of attendees and their unique perspectives on this challenging subject. The result was a revealing and powerful set of videos, from a remarkable group of individuals, committed to ending childhood sexual violence.
One of the most rewarding projects we have ever been involved in – and truly inspirational.
